How many pieces of luggage can I check and carry on the airplane?
Are there certain size and weight limitations?
Are there any charges associated with extra bags?
Reno Air will accept a maximum of three (3) pieces of luggage checked and
allow one (1) carry on per paying passenger without charge. This is subject
to the following conditions of acceptance.
Maximum Outside Linear Dimension
(Linear dimension definition is the Height plus the Width plus the Length)
1ST Piece..62 inches
2nd Piece..55 inches
3rd Piece..55 inches
If your luggage is between 63-80 inches, there will be an additional charge
of $30.00. If your luggage is over 80 inches, the item must be shipped via
our cargo department and additional fees apply depending on the size and
weight. You can contact the Reno Air cargo department at 1-800-RENO-FGT
for additional information.
Excess Baggage Charges
4th/5th/6th Piece.......$30.00 each
7th/8th/9th Piece.......$50.00 each
10th Piece and over..$100.00 each
Maximum Weight Per Bag
Luggage may not exceed 70lbs. per bag. If your bag weighs between 70-100
lbs. there is an additional cost of $30.00 per bag. If your bag weighs over
100 lbs. it must be shipped via Reno Air's cargo department with additional
cost.
Carry On Bag Size Limits
Your carry on bag must not exceed 45 inches in linear dimension. You will
be required to check a bag over this size.
