This
is the promotional
brochure for the Reno
Air "Orange County
Flyer." The MD-90
joined the Reno Air
fleet because it's
quiet engines, which
complied with the stringent
Orange County airport
noise control regulations.
|
This
allowed flights into
Orange County Airport
(SNA) after the evening
landing curfew. As
an added benefit, it
carried more passengers,
and was more fuel efficient
than the MD-80 series.
Pictured are N901RA
(foreground) and N902RA
(background). |
|
The
reverse of the brochure
has a description
of the Reno Air MD-80
Gulf Coast Flyer, and
shows the Reno Air
livery, several pictures
of the aircraft interior
and seating layout
of the MD-80. |
